Ironstone Vineyard 2016 Season Concerts

There is only another few weeks left of summer and there isn’t a more beautiful venue to listen to music than Ironstone Vineyard located in Murphy’s California approximately 45 minutes from Fun Cabin Rentals in Twain Harte.

I have been to a few Ironstone concerts and they are always a blast!

The 2016 season includes:

August 14, 2016: Chris Young

Chris Young is an American county music singer and songwriter.  You may have heard some of his more popular songs: “Aw Naw”, “Who I Am With You”, “I’m Comin’ Over”, and his most recent hits with Cassadee Pope “Think of You” and Vince Gil on “Sober Saturday Night.”

August 21, 2016: Lynyrd Skynrd & Peter Framptom

These guys don’t really need much of an introduction.  Lynyrd Skynrd is a classic in the rock n roll world and have been putting out hits since the 1970s.  Rock on!

September 4, 2016: Bad Company

Another 1970s band, except these guys are from London.  According to Wikipedia, “Their first three albums, Bad Company (1974), Straight Shooter (1975), and Run With the Pack(1976), reached the top five in the album charts in both the UK and US. Many of their singles, such as “Bad Company”, “Can’t Get Enough”, “Good Lovin’ Gone Bad”, and “Feel Like Makin’ Love”, remain staples of classic rock radio.”

September 30, 2016: ZZ Top

ZZ Top is another classic rock band from the 1970s.  You may be surprised to know that it’s one of the few bands that has had the same lineup for more than 45 years!  Four of their studio albums have been certified as gold records, three as platinum records, and two as multi-platinum.  You may recognize “Legs”, “Cheap Sunglasses”, “Heard it On the X”, “Sharp Dressed Man”, “Waitin’ for the Bus/Jesus Just Left Chicago”, “Gimme All Your Lovin'”, “Tush”, and “La Grange.”

Irontone Winery is set up like an amphitheater.  Seating in the front with a general admission law section at the back.

Parking is ample and free.  Tickets can be found at Ticketmaster.com.  Before each concert from 5:30 to 7:00pm, you can pay additional for the Buffet which includes a specialized menu for each concert.  See more details here.  Inside the Amphitheater there are concessions including beer and wine (of course), and lots of good food!
