The town of Murphys California located in the Sierra Nevada foothills has many fun events throughout the year in addition to regular favorites such as the many wineries, delicious restaurants, art galleries, live theatre, antique shops, civil war reenactments, the annual Frog Jumps, and much much more. There is a reason people call this town the “Queen of the Sierra”.
One such event I’d like to highlight that is coming up soon the Shrimp Feed at Murphys Community Park. The Shrimp Feed will take place on August 21, 2010. Enjoy munching on shrimp and sides while listening to Plan B, a musical artist, and enjoying the outdoors at Murphys Community Park.
Murphys Community Park is located at 505 Algiers Street in Downtown Murphys. For pictures and more information about renting it for a personal event please visit:
Murphys Community Park is open from 8am to 10pm and has a gazebo, public toilets, picnic area, BBQ, and playground.
