Pardee Lake opened in 1958. It is open daily from the first Friday in February through the last Sunday in October each season. Fishing, boating, camping, picnicking, and swimming in the swimming pools are the primary activity. Water skiers, jet skiers, or lake swimmers are not allowed on Pardee Lake. Richard and Kerry Cooper are the owners and they do a wonderful job overseeing Pardee Lake.

New Hogan Lake contains many campsites, 50 miles of shoreline, and lots of activities to do. It’s only 30 miles east of Stockton so it’s only about 2 hours from the Bay Area and about an hour and a half from the Sierra Nevada Foothills including Twain Harte.

Electronic gates at North and South Shore at Lake Camanche open at 5:00 am and close at 11:00 pm year-round. The North Shore is open January to December 15th.
